Hello everyone!
Tomorrow is our 5th wedding anniversary. I flood my Facebook with our wedding pictures. I think most of my friends would just ignore it because I do it every year hahaha. They have seen it a couple of times already. Kaya naasiwa na siguro hahaha.
I would like to share my wedding website and my wedding reviews and kwento as well. (icopy paste ko na lang yung ikinuwento ko sa Weddings at work)
NOTE: LONG READ A HEAD
Hi mga sis! Bago pa ako maging msyadong busy sa buhay may asawa magkkwento lang ako ng konti about sa wedding ko last Saturday (02.11.2012) sa Sta Clara de Montefalco Parish sa Pasig City and our reception was sa Tanghalang Pasigueno and I will give some feedback na rin sa mga suppliers ko actually hindi sila ganun ka big time pero I must say TWO THUMBS UP ako sa kanila walang nasabi mga guests ko.
Wedding Singer- She is my ever loving co worker, she volunteered to sing sa reception namin ng mga jazz, but a night before our wedding naku hindi daw sya pwede dhil malat na malat daw sya pero sympre wala ako magagawa kaya I called my brother to perform na lang sa reception (impersonator kasi ni Elvis yung brother ko) and during our reception my co worker tried her best to sing kahit isa and everybody loved it of course nagconcert din ang bro ko with matching jumpsuit ni Elvis I heard people yelling MORE! MORE!
Sta Clara de Montefalco Parish- Breathtaking talaga ang church na ito, oo nga pla February 11 is the feast day of our Lasy of Lourdes so the altar was so beautiful it has a lot of flowers and I didn’t need a florist for it, yung Class A package ang kinuha namin sa kanila including the soloist, red carpet, electric consumption, pre-cana seminar, flowers sa aisle etc. Strict sila pero kung titignan mo organize naman kaya I didn’t mind it.
Tanghalang Pasigueno- MY DREAM CAME TRUE… nung mag boyfriend plang kami ni rhey I told him na ang ganda namang magreception dito sabi ko pag kinasal tau gusto ko dito, while preparing for our wedding madaming venue kaming napuntahan para sa reception namin pero dito pa rin kami bumagsak, the place is breathtakingly beautiful, airconditioned, with elegant pillars and furniture, free flat form, 11am to 11pm ang time namin, with basic sound system and free 190 pcs of tiffany chairs kaya a dream come true talaga.
La Marisan Catering- Never heard?! Hehehe… hindi pa sila big time and I hope someday they will be… wala akong masabi… super sarap ng food my Korean manager loved and enjoyed the food some of my co workers went back to have another round, ganda ng set up, lahat ng pinag usapan namin nagawa nila, basta! Hehehe magaling… ang mura pa! Family friend din kasi namin sila kya all out din ang support 😉
V2 Studio- Very professional, They arrived early considering na naghanap pa sila ng house namin (mga sis sa house lang ako nagprepare kasi my mom can’t transfer ng transfer dahil mahina na sya), ang usapan namin ay 1 videographer and 1 photographer lang, pero 1 videographer and 2 photographers sila 😉 kaya super happy ako, may mga photo hobbyist din kasi akong mga friends and they said na Magaling P/V mo ah! kaya wala akong masabi sa kanila, I’ll share the pics pag nasa amin na yung photo CD.(note: pictures resolution were reduced for this post)
Liz Barrientos-Magpantay & Jay Wee- My favorite supplier Liz was my classmate in grade school sa Arellano and I’m happy that she maid me beautiful that day, traditional make up lang pero malinis ang pagkakagawa and mabilis magtrabaho same with his hairstylist na si Jay Wee. By the way, Jay Wee was the hair stylist of Marian Rivera on her wedding and Maine Mendoza in Kalyeserye (wedding episode).They arrived really early about 30 mins earlier yata! Our guests kept on telling me you look stunning tonight. Hehehe… Nakakahiya nga sa kanila kasi sa bahay lang ako inayusan at ang init pero keri lang sila. Walang kaarte arte mga humble.
Yayadub and Marian’s make up were made by other make up artists.
Perfect match- When I saw the bridal shoes of LJ Moreno I told myself that I would like to have like hers. So I went to a bridal fair in Megamall last February and I saw their sample customized shoes…It actually convinced me more! So H2b and I talked about it and decided to contact Ms. Mari for an appointment. Ms. Mari is very nice she accommodated us big time. I already have my shoes as early as now (September 2011)… and I can’t wait to wear it.
This is my non-negotiable, and amazingly hindi ako nagpaltos, hindi din sumakit ang paa ko, hindi din ako nadulas, Sta Clara de montefalco and tanghalang pasigueno have both granite tiles nakatakbo pa ako nun ha nung maggrand entrance kami sa remix ng moves like jagger, teach me how to doughie, super bass and by chance. 😉 Worth the price!
Brial Gown- Aling Tonia- Grabeh ang support nitong si Aling Tonia, nag assist at nagplantsa ng gown ng mga abay ko pati barong ng groomsman ko, sya din ang nagbihis sa akin, sya ang nagkocomfort sa akin nung nasa bridal car na ako waiting for my turn. My gown looks expensive daw! (hehehe) nakakatuwa lang na super mura lang ng gown ko less than 10k lang sya.
Ivan Lee- Eto ang non-negotiable ni Rhey kailangan naka two button coat sya and the pants, the long sleeves wala kami masabi pati mga hard to please na guests namin nagustuhan ang fit ng damit ni rhey.
Cake- Kuya Eli- Never heard?! Oo hindi din sya kilala pero kilala namin sya hehehe… pinsan lang sya ng sister-in-law ko, nagustuhan ng mga guests ang simple design ng cake ko, ang dami din nagpapicture dun sa tabi nun, nung makita ko nga yung cake sabi ko “Fondat ba yan? but when I looked closely I saw na ordinary icing lang sya pero ang fine ng pagkaka icing nya. I got this for less than 3K. All layers were edible.
Flowers- Aling Fe- Pasig Palengke- Panalo ito! Nagustuhan ko yung bouquet ko even yung sa buong entourage and sa reception walang lanta, walang bukang roses (tulad ng binigay ko na instruction) she even put pearls on my bouquet.
Wedding Ring- Silver works
As you all know, Silvers are not really expensive compared to any kind of jewelery. I would just say IT’S CHEAP but H2b and I are happy with the design.
Rhey and I don’t want to have gold rings and actually it is our preference to only have silver, but the design looks elegant.
So far ito na lang muna.
Lesson learned: Hindi kailangan maging mahal ang kasal, madaming suppliers na magaling din magperform at magbigay ng good service, if you can afford some big time suppliers ok lang yun of course 😉 if I have the luxury to have that I will definitely have their service too but since average income earner lang ako nag imitate na lang ako at gumawa ng konting revision. Naiyak na lang nga ako nung makita ko ang mga pictures from my co workers and friends kasi maganda din pla kinalabasan ng lahat ng pasusumikap namin ni rhey, lahat ng pagod, stress, away namin ni rhey, puyat, pagnanumb ng mga fingers ko kakagawa ng invitation LAHAT yun nawala nung makita ko yung outcome (naiiyak na ako!!!) tears of joy lang mga sis! Hindi ako naiyak kasi nung araw ng kasal ko, nakatulog din ako ng bongga a night before my wedding hehehe… akala ko mararanasan ko yung tulad sa ibang brides naku mga sis a night before borlog tlaga ang lola mo ang gising ko 6am na, ginising pa ako ni Rhey nyan ah. Sya kasi alas 4 pa lang ng madaling araw tumatawag na sa akin 😉 Tapos sa simbahan pinapasmile ako ng P/V ko hindi ako makatawa kasi yung likod ko bumukas natanggal ang hook pero hindi naman halata kasi medyo bukas naman talaga ito kaya nung hinatid ako ng dad and mom ko kay rhey hahaha nagkabitan muna kami ng hook hahaha…
Sorry mga sis sa sobrang haba ng kwento ha. Happy prep sa inyong lahat (para sa lahat ng mga nagpeprepare ng kasal ngayon). Enjoy it because I’m sure you will definitely miss it! Relax lang mga brides to be… ilet go nyo na ang mga maliliit na detalye na hindi na kayang magawa ang importante ay you will marry your bestfriend 😉
Actually, the wedding is just the beginning of the real “life”. When all the guests have gone, foods were consumed, pictures and videos were seen, flowers withered and all wedding gifts were used, marriage remains. It should be strong. It should be God centered. It should be full of love and concern and most of all full of dreams.
I know 101% my husband has sooo much rants and concerns about me and our marriage, just the way I am to him. There are times that I get so mad at him and wouldn’t want to talk to him but every time I look at our wedding photos, it always reminds me why I married this man. I have promises that I need to fulfill and that’s when the learning starts.
